This document contains both the Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions for the mobile application Blackboard Sudoku (the "Game") provided by Dawn Forge (hereafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our"). By using this Game, you agree to the practices and rules described below.
PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY
1. Information Collection and Usage
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, or phone number.
Local Data Storage: All game progress, statistics (Report Card), and inventory (Chocolate Coins, Extra Hints) are stored strictly on your device in local files. We do not have access to this data, and it is not uploaded to our servers.
Third-Party Services (Advertising): The Game uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data (such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general location) to provide personalized or non-personalized ads and for analytics. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle your data.
2. In-App Purchases
All financial transactions are handled securely by the platform providers (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect or store your credit card or billing information.
PART 2: TERMS AND CONDITIONS
3. License and Use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial entertainment.
4. Virtual Goods and Currency (Chocolate Coins)
Chocolate Coins: These are virtual items used solely within the Game to purchase "Extra Hints" or "Extra Mistakes."
No Monetary Value: Chocolate Coins and other virtual items have no real-world monetary value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged for real currency.
Data Loss: Because your inventory is stored locally, deleting the Game or clearing your device data will result in the permanent loss of your Chocolate Coins and progress. We are not responsible for restoring lost virtual items due to device failure or app deletion.
5. Prohibited Actions
You agree not to:
Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or modify the Game's source code.
Manipulate or edit the local save files to artificially increase your coin balance or progress (cheating).
Distribute modified versions of the Game.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Game is provided "AS IS" without any warranties. We are not liable for any damages, including data loss or device issues, arising from your use of the Game.
7. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update this document at any time. Your continued use of the Game constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
